These terms govern your use of muna.bd (the “site”), operated by Muna (“we”, “us”). By browsing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information: name, a working phone number and email. We verify contact details with one-time codes.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.
- One account per person. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, reselling schemes or attacks on the service (see §9).
- Guest checkout is available; guest orders are tracked with the order number and the email or phone used at checkout.
2. Orders
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it. For cash-on-delivery orders that may include an automated confirmation call, and orders we cannot confirm may be cancelled.
- All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and cover what the order summary shows: item prices, discounts, delivery charge and any gift-wrap charge. The order summary at checkout is the authoritative total.
- Pricing errors: if a product was listed at an obviously wrong price through a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund anything paid, and will tell you why.
- Availability: stock shown on the site is live but is not a reservation until checkout completes. If an item becomes unavailable after you ordered, we will contact you to adjust or refund.
- An order can be cancelled any time before it ships, by asking us. After that, the Return & Refund Policy applies.
3. Payment
- The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Some are unavailable for some orders; digital products, for instance, cannot be paid cash on delivery.
- Cash on delivery is available on an order total up to ৳5,000. A larger order is paid when you place it.
- For online payments your items are reserved for a short time, about 30 minutes. If payment doesn’t complete, the order is cancelled automatically and nothing is charged.
- On some cash on delivery orders we ask for the delivery charge, or the full amount, to be paid online before the parcel is sent. The order page shows the amount and the time left to pay, about 30 minutes, the same as for an online payment. If it is not paid in time, the order may be cancelled.
- Store credit on your account is applied at checkout before other payment methods.
4. Delivery
Delivery is governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Returns & refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by the Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Coupons, offers & promotions
- Coupons and promotional discounts carry their own conditions: validity dates, minimum order amounts, usage limits per customer, and category or product restrictions. These are shown wherever the coupon is published.
- One coupon applies per order unless stated otherwise. Automatic promotions combine with a coupon only where the promotion’s own rules allow it.
- We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time; orders already placed keep the price they were confirmed at.
- Abusing promotions, whether through multiple accounts, automated redemption or resale, cancels the benefit and may lead to account suspension.
7. Gift cards & store credit
- Gift cards are digital, delivered by email, and redeemable on muna.bd for store credit. A card with an expiry date must be redeemed before it expires; once redeemed, the resulting store credit does not expire.
- Keep gift card codes secret, because anyone with the code can redeem it. The purchaser is notified when their gifted card is redeemed.
- Gift cards and promotional credit cannot be exchanged for cash. Where the withdrawal feature is offered, only refund-derived credit can be withdrawn, at the minimum and fee shown on the withdrawal page.
- Store credit belongs to your account and is not transferable.
8. Reviews, questions & other content
- Reviews and questions you submit may be published after moderation. “Verified purchase” badges mark reviews from actual buyers.
- Please don’t post content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing or spam. We may decline or remove it.
- By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the site and in our marketing, credited to your display name.
9. Acceptable use
You must not: try to reach other users’ accounts or data; probe, scan or attack the service; scrape the catalogue at abusive rates; place fraudulent orders; manipulate prices, coupons, reviews or stock alerts; or use the site for anything unlawful. We rate-limit sensitive actions and may suspend offending accounts or refuse orders.
10. Intellectual property
The site, its design, brand, product photography and content belong to Muna or its licensors. Product trademarks belong to their owners. You may not reuse site content commercially without written permission.
11. Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Bangladeshi law, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act.
- Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays and failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control such as courier disruptions, natural disasters or network outages.
- The site is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.
12. Privacy
Your personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Changes apply from publication and do not retroactively change orders already placed. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Please contact us first, as most issues are resolved by support. Unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
